W artykule dokonano przeglądu wszystkich rodzajów instalacji eksploatujących wody termalne na terenie Polski. Do lat 90-tych ubiegłego wieku na terenie naszego kraju wody termalne były wykorzystywane w siedmiu uzdrowiskach. W latach 1996 - 2005 nastąpił rozwój wykorzystania wody termalnej do celów ciepłowniczych, a okres ten zaowocował wybudowaniem pięciu ciepłowni geotermalnych. Kolejne lata to wzrost zainteresowania inwestorów wykorzystaniem wody termalnej do celów balneologicznych i rekreacyjnych gdzie wody termalne wykorzystywane są do zasilania basenów rekreacyjnych i pływackich, saun i łaźni. W ostatnich pięciu latach wybudowano na Podhalu i na Niżu Polskim osiem parków wodnych wykorzystujących wody termalne. W artykule przedstawione są podstawowe parametry eksploatacyjne wód termalnych wydobywanych obecnie na terenie Polski.
CURRENT STATUS OF USE OF THERMAL WATERS AND GEOTHERMAL ENERGY IN POLAND
The article reviews all types of thermal installation exploiting on Polish territory.
In Poland up to the 90-ties of the last century thermal waters were used in the seven health resorts. In the years 1996 - 2005 there has been an increase in use of thermal water for heating purposes. These's resulted in the construction of five geothermal plants.
The following years shows an increase of investor's interest in the use of thermal water for balneology and recreation purposes where thermal water is used for powering recreational and swimming pools, saunas and baths. In the last five years, there were built eight water parks using thermal water in Podhale and the Polish Lowland. The article outlines also the basic operating parameters of thermal waters that are mined on Polish territory. (...)
