The concept of cluster supply chains as the direction of the development of European cooperative networks

The conception of cluster supply chain responds to the need of knowledge and refining the mechanisms allowing the rise of the competitiveness of cluster companies. Combining the advantages of functioning in the cluster with possibilities offered by the logistics in integrated supply chains, companies gain substantial benefits. Expansion to external markets or increasing the efficacy of actions within the concept of cluster - sourcing are, among other things, parts of it. The article presents the study of the Dutch Flower Cluster as an example of perfect functioning of a European cluster supply chain.
