On June 9, 2025, Fresh Logistics Polska held the grand opening of its new logistics center in Łomża. The modern facility, located on Ciepła Street, represents not only a significant investment for the company but also a vital development stimulus for the entire region. The center supports the continued expansion of temperature-controlled logistics services, meeting the demands of an increasingly discerning fresh product market.
The new Fresh Logistics Polska facility in Łomża offers a state-of-the-art logistics space with a total area of 6,603 m², designed to provide comprehensive handling of temperature-sensitive products. The cross-docking area covers 2,721 m² and is maintained at a constant temperature of 2–6°C. Thanks to 20 loading docks, shipments can be processed quickly and efficiently. The facility also includes an Ultra Fresh chamber (0–2°C) with an area of 141 m², dedicated to the safe storage of highly perishable goods such as fresh meat and fish with very short shelf lives. Additionally, the contract logistics area of 2,044 m² enables the storage of 2,334 pallets and is serviced by eight loading docks. The site is also equipped with three independent freezing chambers with areas of 501 m², 505 m², and 688 m², offering a total capacity of 3,252 pallets at a temperature of -23°C, ensuring the safe storage of frozen products.
It is also worth highlighting the ecological aspects of this investment. The new Fresh Logistics warehouse is equipped with photovoltaic panels and a heat pump, allowing it to source 100% of its electricity from renewable energy. The facility features modern refrigeration systems protected by an innovative double-dry-loop fire prevention system, as well as the latest forklifts powered by lithium-ion batteries, which are environmentally friendly and highly energy-efficient. All goods are transported using a fleet that meets the EURO 6 emissions standard, ensuring high environmental standards at every stage of the supply chain.
