SHEIN Opens Logistics Hub near Wrocław

SHEIN, the global online apparel retailer, is opening a new e-commerce logistics centre in Wrocław County. The new facility is one of the most advanced of its kind in Europe and will serve as SHEIN’s main logistics hub on the continent, enabling faster and more efficient delivery to over 100 million customers across Europe.

The modern centre will increase its employment in Lower Silesia to 5,000 people, making SHEIN one of the largest employers in the region. This forms part of SHEIN’s long-term commitment in Poland, where the company launched its logistics operations in 2022 and has already created more than 3,000 jobs.

We are proud to officially open our new hub in Poland. Since 2022, Wrocław has been a strategic base for our European logistics. This strengthens our long-term commitment to the region while enabling us to better serve customers across Europe with faster and more reliable deliveries. With advanced warehousing capabilities, strong infrastructure, convenient transport links to key European markets, and a large pool of skilled workers, Wrocław and its surroundings provide a highly attractive hub for the logistics industry. We look forward to continuing to create new jobs and enhance customer experience,
- said Leonard Lin, President of EMEA at SHEIN.

The modern centre is equipped with robotic systems and automated sorting lines, enabling faster goods flows and high operational efficiency while maintaining the highest quality standards, setting a new benchmark for e-commerce logistics in Europe. The facility is one of the most technologically advanced e-commerce warehouses in Europe and, once fully operational, will cover 740,000 square metres.

As part of its commitment to the development of Lower Silesia, SHEIN collaborates with over 170 local small and medium-sized enterprises in transport, packaging, and professional services.

The new logistics centre will also support Polish and European brands and sellers on the SHEIN platform, giving them improved access to a large consumer base and allowing them to use high-quality logistics and fulfilment services at some of the most competitive rates in the industry.

The expansion of SHEIN’s hub in our region will create thousands of new jobs, positioning Lower Silesia as a leader in modern logistics. I am pleased about this cooperation. It demonstrates strong confidence in the Lower Silesian business environment,
- said Michał Rado, Deputy Marshal of the Lower Silesia Voivodeship.

The new facility is already operational and is expected to reach full operating capacity by the end of 2025.
