Duvenbeck appoints Chief Information Officer

Jakub Piotrowski joins the Duvenbeck Group in the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) and will be part of the Executive Board, where he will play a key role in shaping the Duvenbeck Group's digital development.
Jakub Piotrowski will assume responsibility for the entire IT division and work on strengthening the group’s competitiveness. His immediate focus will be on forming and implementing digital strategies to redesign business models, products and services through the usage of contemporary technologies.
Before joining Duvenbeck, Jakub Piotrowski worked for the BLG Logistics Group and held various leadership positions in both Germany and the US – most recently as CIO. With his proven track record, he will be essential in the process of building powerful IT platforms to optimally prepare the Duvenbeck Group for future challenges.
He will report directly to Hakan Bicil, CEO of the Duvenbeck Group.
The Duvenbeck Group, which has its headquarters in Bocholt in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, was founded in 1932 and now operates at more than 50 business sites in 12 different countries. Duvenbeck is a full-service provider in the fields of transport services and contract logistics.
