Characteristics of fractional rheological models of asphalt-aggregate mixtures

The procedure of the formulation of constitutive equations for asphalt-aggregate mixtures is based very often on linear rheological schemes composed of classical elastic and viscous elements. The parameters of these schemes can be obtained based on laboratory experiments. It was proved in the literature that it is possible to obtain better curve fitting results using non-classical viscoelastic elements described by fractional derivatives. In this paper we will present the characteristics of the fractional Huet-Sayegh model. The problem of estimation of its parameters was analyzed in our previous paper.

Niekonwencjonalne wyznaczeniefunkcji niezawodności pojazdów samochodowych

W pracy przedstawiono metodę wyznaczenia funkcji niezawodności pojazdów samochodowych. Niezawodność pojazdu samochodowego opisana jest przez dwuparametrowy rozkład Weibulla. W celu umożliwienia praktycznego zastosowania funkcji niezawodności do prognozowania niezawodności pojazdów, przedstawiono metodę ilościowego określenia tej funkcji. Oznacza to konieczność wyznaczenia, w oparciu o przyjęte założenia, wartości nieznanych parametrów rozkładu Weibulla.

Badanie przyczepności opony do nawierzchni w warunkach letniej eksploatacji

W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań współczynnika przyczepności pomiędzy oponą a nawierzchnią w warunkach letniej eksploatacji. W badaniach wykorzystano nową generację zestawu pomiarowego SRT-4, wyposażonego w przyczepkę dynamometryczną. Układ ten jest również wykorzystywany podczas rutynowych badań współczynnika przyczepności nawierzchni na drogach krajowych i badań odbiorczych nowych dróg. Artykuł wskazuje jedną z możliwości szacowania współczynnika przyczepności pomiędzy oponą a nawierzchnią, przydatną przy odtwarzaniu sytuacji przedwypadkowych. Problematyka poruszona w tej pracy może być w szczególności interesująca dla rzeczoznawców samochodowych i biegłych sądowych z dziedziny bezpieczeństwa ruchu drogowego.

Application of rheological fluid dampers for vibration control of buildings

Vibration problem of the building retrofitted with controllable rheological fluid damper was formulated in the paper. Moreover, the problem of the optimal friction force evaluation was also considered. Horizontal displacements of the model under consideration were caused by foundation motion. In case of the system retrofitted with magnetorheological dampers (MR), the signals generated in displacements’ sensors are converted into the current in coil exciting magnetic field in slits where the MRF fluid flows. In case of electrorheological dampers (ER) the electric field is formed between electrodes powered by controllable current generator. The electric or magnetic field provokes fluid polarization in damper, what influences on the value of friction force. The intensity of vibrations was evaluated based on a functional depending on accelerations of certain points of the system. Results of computer simulations were also presented in the paper.

Decomposition of the pairs (a,b) and (a,c) of positive discretetime linear systems

A new test for checking the reachability (observability) of positive discrete-time linear systems is proposed. Conditions are established under which the unreachable pair (A,B) and the unobservable pair (A,C) of positive discrete-time system can be decomposed into reachable and unreachable parts and observable and unobservable parts, respectively. It is shown that the transfer matrix of the positive system is equal to the transfer matrix of its reachable (observable) part.

Autorka sa vo svojom príspevku zaoberá spoločensky zodpovedným podnikaním. Na začiatku stručne prechádza históriu spoločensky zodpovedného podnikania a porovnáva jednotlivé definície spoločenskej zodpovednosti. Priestor venuje jednotlivým oblastiam spoločenskej zodpovednosti: ekonomickej, sociálnej a enviromentálnej spoločenskej zodpovednosti. V závere príspevku autorka rozoberá spoločenskú zodpovednosť médií, pričom sa venuje dvom základným aspektom spoločenskej zodpovednosti médií, rozoberá vzťah reklama a spoločenská zodpovednosť a dôvody, prečo by sa mali médiá venovať spoločenskej zodpovednosti.

Estimated mathematical model of cracks in magnetic inspection of railroad rails

A model of crack was developed to provide possibility for magnetic field over the defect, and signal that will be inducted in the searching coil depending on its parameters, spatial orientation and height above rail head to be calculated. This allows to analyze the shape of the signals and the ratios between their amplitudes for all three components of the magnetic field caused by crack depending on its shape and location in the rail and to predict signals in multichannel systems of rail flaw detection.

Dyżurnego ruchu w lcs

Artykuł opisuje analizę wpływu automatyzacji pracy urządzeń sygnalizacyjnych na przejazdach kategorii A na obciążenie dyżurnego ruchu w LCS. Sposób automatyzacji pracy urządzeń sygnalizacji przejazdowej na przejazdach kategorii A został zaprezentowany przez autorów w zeszłym roku. Wyniki analizy zostały opracowane zgodnie z metodyką stosowaną w PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. W wyniku przeprowadzonej analizy przedstawiono warunki, w których zastosowanie zaproponowanej przez autorów automatyzacji pracy urządzeń na przejazdach kategorii A może być korzystne z punktu widzenia obciążenia dyżurnego ruchu w LCS.
