The paper deals with the new structure of postal industry after the deregulation processes and also the new elements in the value chain in postal industry as well as in postal operators. The changes are related with the innovation processes, the new types of technology, the new rules and also with the new requirments of customers. The government has also different interests and needs on the functionning of postal industry. These changes are discussed on the example of Slovak postal industry.

Warunkiem dobrej współpracy jest właściwe rozlokowanie i zorganizowanie usług logistycznych. Wysoka jakość usług logistycznych transportu może być osiągnięta przy wykorzystaniu telematyki i związanych z nią najnowocześniejszych technologii telekomunikacyjnych i informatycznych.

Better transportation system is a basic need, not only of developed countries but also for developing countries. The context of the paper is based on traffic congestion, motorization problems, specification, and growth in transportation demand. Like these problems are described in detail to focus genuine and basic reason. This work is focusing on reasons of transportation problems and their examples and concerned factors. In addition to travel time, safety, energy and environment; public health is also an important issue that should be considered as a side effect of a transportation system.

Problem wyboru tras kolejowych jest zagadnieniem bardziej złożonym niż wybór trasy drogowej. Należy uwzględniać uwarunkowania: środowiskowe, społeczne i gospodarcze, należy analizę poszerzone o techniczną złożoność systemów kolejowych(droga kolejowa, trakcja, automatyka, telekomunikacja). Dobrą ilustracja omawianego zagadnienia jest przeprowadzenie analizy na podstawie wyboru wariantu trasy linii kolejowej „Rail Baltica” w województwie podlaskim.

The non-standard cargo (oversize) creates non-standard problems. The oversize transport contains the transportation of different turbines, reactors, and other construction structures with non-standard parameters (dimensions, weight, and also available cargo space on the transport craft, permissible pressure and stress on the loading deck). Oversize transportation is a important part of industry, energy, infrastructure development. This transportation has big impact to economical development in every country but it is still very differently organized in separate countries. In South Baltic Region (SBR), the development of common oversize transportation strategy could increase develop the links to common transport infrastructure. The paper presents same problems of sea transport of oversize cargo.
