W artykule przestawiono architekturę oraz ważniejsze funkcje i usługi systemu cyfrowej telefonii komórkowej GSMR. System GSMR jest to system wykorzystywany dla potrzeb wspomagania zarządzania i sterowania w transporcie kolejowym. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na wybrane problemy związane z bezpieczeństwem teleinformatycznym usług realizowanych z wykorzystaniem systemu GSMR. Przedstawiono także zagadnienia związane z wdrażaniem systemu GSMR i dotyczące zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa w transporcie kolejowym.

The paper present the architecture and major features and services of the digital mobile telephone system GSM-R. GSM-R system is a system used for the purpose of supporting the management and control of rail transport. Particular attention is paid to the selected problems related to the teleinformatic security services realized with using GSM-R system.
